Matthew Molineux is an emerging artist currently undertaking a Bachelor of Visual Arts at Queensland College of Art and Design, Griffith University. His practice to date has focused on printmaking, particularly relief and screen printing.

Molineux’s work often draws on personal experience, moving between narrative and more open, non-discursive approaches to image-making. He is interested in the agency of materials within the print process, exploring how surface, ink and substrate can shape meaning alongside, and sometimes in place of, explicit storytelling.
