Sera Lechowski.
Sera Lechowski is an artist working between Meanjin/Brisbane and the Moreton Bay region. Her practice moves across drawing, painting, textiles and installation, anchored by a sustained fascination with anatomy. Memory, trauma and the body are recurring concerns, often articulated through found materials and labour-intensive hand-making processes that embed meaning in the physical surface of the work.
Lechowski is currently completing a Bachelor of Visual Arts at Queensland College of Art and Design, graduating in 2026. Her graduate work was included in the 2025 exhibition in the fold, and she curated and exhibited in the collaborative installation Unhomely at the QCAD Webb Gallery in the same year.
