An afternoon with PARKER Contemporary
Saturday 31 January
3.00 – 4.30pm
Maybe you love looking at art, visiting exhibitions or following artists online, but no one ever really explained how you go from admiring work to actually owning it.
On the final day of Contemporaries: Summer, PARKER Contemporary is hosting an afternoon session that uses the current exhibition to demystify the process and make collecting feel open, practical and accessible.
Together, we’ll look at the artworks on the walls and talk through what makes an artwork original, how editions and pricing function, and how to approach collecting in a way that reflects your own taste, space and way of living.
This gathering is for anyone who has ever loved art but wasn’t quite sure how to begin collecting it, and it will also include a preview of what’s coming up for PARKER Contemporary in 2026.

Tickets are $15and support the ongoing work of the gallery.
